A good cartoon about the banks being bailed out ….
-
RBS boss Stephen Hester was awarded £1m bonus (on top of his £1.2m salary) for failure at the 82% tax payer state owned bank.
Meanwhile British Prime Minister David Cameron punished taxpayers by increasing VAT by 2.5% for a crisis caused by the greedy bankers.
Both men hope that the British public will just ‘shut up and put up’ with the situation. It is time people rose up and shouted ‘enough is enough’ - We are the 99% and we are sick of the 1% stealing all the wealth!
-

It is broken and we need to find a new way to make it fairer for everyone in society ….

Greece’s government pledged to fire workers as part of a 6.6 billion-euro ($8.8 billion) austerity package
Bloomberg - reporting on the plight of workers who will face poverty because of the banking crisis. Meanwhile, the banking bosses still enjoy lavish bonuses and pension rewards. This system is WRONG! -
Inflation has been above target in 34 out of the 40 months since the beginning of 2008
Workers wages have been driven down since 2008, yet we are paying more for goods than the Bank of England predicted. Capitalism is a failed system that stops workers getting a fair deal.

One Tesco Too Many Causes Riots In Bristol
On the week Tesco announced record profits of £3.54 billion, the opening of it’s Stokes Croft store in Bristol didn’t go down too well with the locals.
Rioting into the night (as Jonathan Taphouse captures wonderfully in his photos) as police draft in officers from Wales.
Capitalism means the wealth goes to the few, while the millions are left to suffer. Only a democratic planned economy under socialism would result in a fairer society for the millions not the millionaires!
An excellent video of the events can be seen on YouTube.

Capitalism makes it OK to pay Bart Becht (boss of Reckitt Benckiser) over £200m in 6 years, while communities are being forced to close youth groups, libraries, fire stations because we are told there is no money!
Time we got rid of this capitalist system and try a democratic socialism with a planned economy that shares wealth with the millions not the few.
